So we have not got an "off the shelf" turbo system for your vehicle. Don't be alarmed, we probably already have the technical specs for your diesel engine, and probably have already turbo-ed quite a few. Sometimes , it's just not economically viable for us to produce an off the shelf solution, due to the limited demand for a system on your type of vehicle.

Our turbo diesel specialists are able to supply a complete system , from manifold through to exhaust and intercooling options where required.

Generally , most naturally aspirated diesels can gain from 30-50% more torque with very mild boost increases ( 5-7 PSI ). When designed and tuned correctly, these torque gains will not have any detrimental effect to engine life, as most of the gains are gleaned from a straight increase in engine efficiency.

For normal, standard engine type turbo power-ups, your custom AXT Turbo system will provide torque increases straight off idle, and carry through the RPM range. We are careful not to alter the peak operational torque curves, as the rest of the engine is designed to operate at specific RPM. Amplifying the torque through the entire range serves us better, by not introducing any "shock loading", and maintaining the engine reliability.

Not only does your custom turbo system increase power, but as engine efficiency is also increased, economy can get better and emissions can be reduced where desired.

As many people see the price of diesel rising, alternate fuels are becoming available for your diesel engine. Many of these fuels actually require a dramatic amount more air than a naturally aspirated diesel can provide, to maintain similar power and torque figures. This is another area where a custom diesel turbo system can help.

Some alternate fuels, such as "vege-oil" biodiesel, require slightly higher combustion pressures to actually ignite and burn properly. As a turbocharger positively charges the combustion chamber, the "vege-oil" biodiesel burns far better, reducing the unwanted effect of smelling like a rolling fish and chip shop! The turbocharger also reduces reliance on engine damaging additives such as ethanol or toluene, which if not blended correctly, can cause dramatic engine failure.

( Ethanol and Toluene are added to most biofuels to ensure appropriate ignition of the biofuel. Many other additives are also available for the same purpose. These are just 2 examples. AXT Turbo does not recommend or condone using non-commercial biofuel alternatives, although we do believe everyone should have the right to safe alternative fuel solutions ! )
