Diesel Turbo Kits and Turbo Systems

These are the AXT Turbo systems and kits designed to suit your naturally aspirated diesel, to provide unsurpassed reliability combined with excellent torque and power gains.

The conversion to a turbocharged system increases engine efficiency, as all the fuel is able to be burnt completely, rather than sending unburnt fuel out the exhaust.

The Nissan Safari uses the same turbo system as the Patrol.

Optional Upgrades

All standard AXT Turbo systems are designed to make the most reliable power gains , without needing any further modifications.

However there are circumstances where additional components may be required, such as :

Oil Coolers : We recommend retaining most factory service schedules, however sometimes this is unrealistic. An oil cooler will extend the life of your oil when used in extremely hot ambient conditions. This means longer distances between services.

Intercoolers : Sometimes more power over our standard turbo kit is required. Sometimes the extremes of ambient conditions force the need for intercooling. Our intercooler systems are designed as a bolt on upgrade to all our turbo systems, thus ensuring a neat upgrade path if required

Hi-Flow Exhaust Systems :

More commonly known as "Sports Exhausts". Generally these are only required for "aesthetic" value, or where the standard exhaust is in need of replacement. In higher power applications a good free-flowing exhaust system will provide gains.

Fuel enrichment Kits :

Also known as Boost compensators or Aneroids. These units are designed for higher power units, or systems where there is a compromise in turbo design. AXT Turbo only offers these units to suit high powered upgrades, as all our standard systems are designed to work with the standard diesel pump configuration.
